Milkshakes Served In An Easter Egg Are What Chocaholic Dreams Are Made Of

Easter is a pretty big deal in the culinary world, in case you hadn't noticed. Every year, high street cafes, restaurants and confectionary companies from around the world compete for the most extravagant Easter treats in a bid to win over chocolate-loving customers.

The Diner, in London, UK, is the latest restaurant to throw their proverbial hat into the ring, and have launched a limited-edition milkshake with a twist: this milkshake is served in an Easter egg. It takes the freakshake to the next level, I'm telling you.

It's called The Peepshake, and it's an all-American extravaganza. The chocolate egg is filled with a New York Cheesecake milkshake, topped with squirty cream and crumbled Oreos, plus a few Peeps marshmallow animals for good measure.

They're not going to be here for long, however. These Peepshakes will only be available on Good Friday, and there will be five per restaurant in the following locations: Gloucester Road, Camden, Soho, Covent Garden, Strand, Spitalfields, Shoreditch, Islington and Dalston. These eggs don't come cheap, either, clocking in at a cool £15 ($19).

This is an eating challenge waiting to happen. Demolishing one of these eggs may sound simple enough, but I'm willing to bet that the sweetness will be too much for some. Do you think you could handle one of these Peepshakes? If so, I wish you luck in your quest.
