How do you feel when you wake up in the morning? If you’re anything like me, then the answer is groggily, slowly and regretting life, contemplating whether you really, really need that job. When that happens (and trust me, it happens often), I like to think of how many celebrities around the world feel when they wake up.
In Ke$ha’s 2009 single Tik Tok, the singer talks about waking up in the morning “feeling like P Diddy”, but if we’re talking about the waking habits of celebrities here, I’m kind of curious to learn how Kylie Jenner wakes up. Since she had her baby, Kylie probably feels quite groggy herself, but I’d imagine the life of a Kardashian is way different to that of you or I.
But here’s the big question: what exactly does Kylie Jenner eat for breakfast? With the riches of the Kardashians at her disposal, you’d think that she dabbles in all kinds of continental delights. But in reality, Kylie Jenner has just one thing for breakfast, and she has it every single morning.
Of course, her routine may differ now that she has Stormi to take care of, but a post on her website back when she was dating the rapper Tyga gives us a pretty good idea of her morning breakfast routine. Surprisingly, this breakfast dish is made of just three things: turkey sausage patties, eggs and rice. Kind of curious… but appetizing all the same.
“I seriously love being home and cooking for my friends and family, especially breakfast,” Jenner revealed, admitting that it was her former boyfriend’s favorite. “I make the same meal every morning because it’s amazing and it’s T’s [Tyga’s] favorite. He always asks for it! It’s so easy, anyone can do it!!!”
But how exactly do you combine eggs, turkey sausage patties and rice in a fashion befitting of the most important meal of the day? Wouldn’t you like to know? “I cook the eggs and rice together in a pan (sometimes I add cheese too), and in a separate skillet I fry up the sausage with a little olive oil for about 13-15 minutes until it’s well-done,” Kylie explains. “Seriously, that’s it. If you want a little extra flavor, sprinkle some garlic powder on your sausage.”
Mmm, sounds delicious! If you’re looking for a little extra nutrition in your breakfast, then do what Kylie does, and get yourself some vitamins and minerals. She has a smoothie consisting of orange juice, a banana, plus a mix of other frozen organic fruit. Sounds good, doesn’t it?
Kylie add that this nutritious smoothie provides the 20-year-old socialite with “energy, a healthy dosage of Vitamin C, potassium, antioxidants, and general deliciousness”. I don’t know about you, but I could always do with a bit more deliciousness in my life, and if it’s good enough for Kylie Jenner, then it’s definitely good enough for me.
