Jessica Alba reveals the post-baby diet that will help her keep it tight

Having a baby is never easy, not even when you're a celebrity. Sure, the endless wads of cash at your disposal is certainly helpful, but it doesn't stop you from having to raise a tiny human into a semi-functional contributor to society, not to mention giving birth in the first place.

In addition to all that, as new mom Kylie Jenner proves, you've got cameras trained on your every move, waiting for you to make the tiniest mistake, and once the pregnancy is all over, you're under a lot of pressure to lose all that baby weight and get back to your pre-mom bod.

This is all very familiar to celebrated actress Jessica Alba, who starred in movies like Sin City, the two Fantastic Four films as well as Into the Blue and the Love Guru in her storied career. But now, Alba is more focused on being a mom; she's just given birth to her third kid with her husband Cash Warren, and she's got the diet plan to shed her pregnancy weight.

Earlier this week, Alba took to Instagram to share some news on her updated diet plan, and I have to say, I'm down for it. “Starting today I’m going to make healthier food choices,” Alba revealed on her social media channel. She had her son Hayes on New Year's Eve, and has had her hands full with nine-year-old Honor and six-year-old Haven.

But in her own words, Jessica Alba is ready to juggle motherhood with a new pledge for healthy eating: "Starting today, I'm going to make healthier food choices. I just had a baby, and it's hard to get back in the saddle. But, I think it's time." You go, Jessica! The 36-year-old actress revealed she was working with Kelly LeVeque, a holistic nutritionist and wellness expert, and if Kelly's personal bio is anything to go by, then Jessica's in for a great time.

"Kelly is extremely passionate about the science of human nutrition. Driven by the desire to help her clients, and her own intellectual curiosity, she studies the latest research, evaluates competing theories and reads everything. Most importantly, she uses that knowledge to make individualized recommendations for her clients."

This is a picture of Jessica's latest Insta feed, where she posted a photo of just one of the healthy snacks that will make up most of her diet, now that she's working with Kelly. In her story, she admitted that her old cravings are getting to her, saying: "[Kelly LeVeque] I love you, but I might love sugar more".

Like many of us, Jessica may be struggling to adhere to healthy eating, and it's kind of endearing to see that no matter who you are, you can struggle with the trials and tribulations of getting back to basics after the testing period of new motherhood. But if you're contending with diet issues of your own, I think it's super encouraging to see that celebrities can suffer just as hard as you, and hopefully that can help you to scale new heights to get the body you really want.
