15 McDonald’s Menu Items That Aren’t Available Anywhere In The US

With over 36,000 McDonald’s across the globe, it’s no surprise that the menu may vary a bit from one location to another. While menu classics like the Big Mac, McNuggets, and classic fries are typically available everywhere, some locations offer items that are specific to their country, meaning that they can’t be found anywhere else… including the states.

Sorry, Americans, but if you have a hankering for any of the following items, then you’re going to have to pack your suitcases. And if we’re being honest, some of these look so good they they might be worth the plane trip …

1. Chicken McDo with Spaghetti in the Philippines

McDonald’s isn’t usually associated with Italian food, but in the Philippines they are serving up the McDo, a piece of fried chicken and spaghetti with a “signature sauce” and ground beef, every day.

2. Truffle Mayo and Parmesan Loaded Fries in Australia

These seem all-too fancy for McDonald’s, but in Australia you can get these luxurious fries in any Macca’s (Australian slang for McDonald’s) you find.

3. Tamago Burger in Japan

While McDonald’s Japan has a whole line of Tamago burgers, or burgers topped with a fried egg, this one looks extra delicious with cheese and a teriyaki sauce.

4. Rolls with Cottage Cheese, Raisins, and Dried Apricots in Russia

These pancake-like rolls, filled with cottage cheese and dried fruit, hardly even resemble a McDonald’s breakfast food item.

5. Ham n’ Egg Twisty Pasta in Japan

This pasta is served in a chicken broth with vegetables and a ham patty, and topped off with a fried egg … making it a confusing combo of breakfast-and-dinner that we’d certainly never expect from McDonald’s.
